Clarion Co-operative Homes is in search of a highly motivated and organized individual to assist the General Manager in the administration of our 69 unit co-operative townhouse complex.
The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties including; general office administration and receptionist duties (phones, typing, copying, filing), responding to member and public requests for information, data entry, processing maintenance work orders, purchasing supplies as required, assisting to process applications for subsidy and membership, assisting with community meetings and events, assisting to organize annual inspections, conducting periodic inspections of units, and other duties as required.
exceptional organizational skills; solid written and oral communication skills; minimum 2 years previous office experience; working knowledge of Microsoft office; ability to work well in a high paced demanding environment and to juggle multiple tasks at once; own transportation; knowledge of Co-operative housing or social housing is required; knowledge of NewViews would be an asset.
Hours of Work:
- 28 hours per week – 4 days at 7 hours per day
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Occasional evening work may be required
