The Central Ontario Co-operative Housing Federation (COCHF) is a co-operative association made up of member housing co-ops and related organizations in the Brantford, Cambridge, Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo Regions.
COCHF is financed by annual membership dues, fees for services and revenue shared by CHF Canada.
COCHF supports diversity in our community and the student members that work to represent that diversity are eligible to apply for scholarship awards.

Co-op Cost Cutters is a buying program with a wide variety of products and services that every co-op can use. The program saves co-ops time and money and strengthens our community.
We take an active role at all levels of government, lobbying for fair housing that works for everyone. We partner with CHF Canada to represent the interests of co-ops through legislative changes and new policies that affect co-ops in our regions.
From time to time co-ops run into difficulty and we are here to help. COCHF answers questions on co-op by-laws and policy, day-to-day matters, community issues, planning, and other co-op related concerns.
When co-ops have exhausted trying to handle the conflict on their own we can provide mediators for disputes between individuals or groups in the co-op. COCHF has skilled facilitators that can help your co-op work through issues and provide advice to the board about handling conflict.
COCHF can provide an experienced chairperson for a members meeting or board meeting where an impartial chairperson is needed. This includes difficult meetings and special meetings.
